What's special at Zaatvm?
We're not a resort, we're not a star-rated hotel, we're not even a boutique one. But there are several things which will make your stay with us special, memorable...and most importantly, fuss-free!
The people
Our expertise in the Hospitality industry does not come from a Hotel Management degree or work experience in a renowned hotel/resort. It comes from something much more important: our experiences as GUESTS across India and other countries.

We know what makes guests feel over the moon, well looked after, left to themselves or absolutely ignored. We know the difference between being available on call and truly being there for a guest. We know to be hospitable, but not intrude.

We know, because we've been there, done that. While some of our hosts were clearly in the wrong job, there were some others who were absolutely fabulous and inspiring! And, what we do now at Zaatvm is taking on from that inspiration!
The food
Our lovely mother's culinary skills are...well, what do we say? We've had people come in from Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, England, Czhechia, Mexico and Russia, opted for a room without food, got tempted by all the smells and eventually fell in love with the food at Zaatvm! There is food we'll serve you, fresh and hot everyday. And there are foods you can buy from us, if you choose to: pickles, savouries and traditional Kerala sweets. Read on for more details.
A love for the city
We are proud dwellers of this city and love sharing bits of history, facts and stories to all who are interested. Come talk to us and we'll regale you with tales recent and old!
The personal touch
Have you heard the Indian maxim "Aditi Devo Bhava"? It translates to "Guest is God", and we take that quite seriously. As travellers ourselves, we know what agonies come with visiting a new place.

When you book yourselves at Zaatvm, we book ourselves to an opportunity to serve you a great experience! We can take you around the city, point out sights and places outside your itinerary, drop you to your next destination in Kerala or nearby Tamil Nadu (and bring you back)! If you are staying with us long, we will be happy to take care of your daily food. If there are festivals we celebrate while you stay with us, we'd love for you to take part and share in our culture.
